Castor Oil/F.S.G castor is a bleached form of castor oil extracted from castor seed by mechanically pressing procedures. It is pale-yellow, almost looks colorless, and has mild odor characteristics. It has many uses, such as polyurethane coatings, lacquers, elastomers, surface-active agents, pharmaceuticals, industrial lubricants, insulating compounds, adhesives, and many more. The bleaching of the oil is done by using activated carbon that helps in reducing its color and keeping the moisture content.
